The Industrialnaya Line is a metro line in the southern edge of the Ring Line. It has a total of 5 stations, with a possible 4 more to be added in an extension south.
Stations
Oktyabrskaya
Oktyabrskaya (Октябрьская) is the current southern terminus of the line. It serves as a connection point to the Ring Line (#5). The station has two island platforms, with tracks on both sides of them to form a total of 4 platforms. The inner two platforms serve as terminal platforms, where the line continues into the Oktyabrskaya depot (ТЧ-10). The outer platforms currently lead to dead-ends, however there is a reversing loop for trains to re-enter service.
Prazhskaya
Prazhskaya (Пражская) is a station on the Industrialnaya line, it currently is the only station that is unique to the line, the other 4 stations serve as transfer points. The station is mixture between a Pylon and Column station.
Fili
Fili (Фили) is a station in the middle of the line, it has a connection to the Travanskaya Line (#1).
Morskaya
Morskaya (Морская) is the most recent station to open on the line. It has 1 platform and is situated on a loop of track the branches off of the main line shortly after Fili. It connects the line to the Orange Line (#4).
Industrialnaya
Industrialnaya (Индустриальная) is the western terminus for the main line. It connects with the Arbatskaya Line (#2). The station has an extra track that serves as a siding for trains. The siding was originally planned to be a connecting line to allow trains to go to/from the Arbatskaya Line, however it has not been completed.
History
Original Plan
The line was originally only going to serve as a shuttle service beneath the Travana River. It was planned to have 2 stations, Industrialnaya and Fili (what is now Prazhskaya).
Station Renaming
Only one station on the line has been renamed, that is Prazhskaya. It was originally called Fili as it was going to be the transfer point to the Travanskaya Line (#1), however a miscalculation and poor planning led to the station being much further east than it was supposed to.
Ladozhsky Expansion
The Ladozhsky Expansion is a proposed extension of the line further south. It would add 4 more station to the Oktyabrskaya end of the line, bringing it into the Ladozhsky District.
